As a result of the enactment of Law 5 of 2010 of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas as from March 2010, it has been established that in addition to the six hundred dollars (US$ 600.00) restoration fees payable to the Register in Bahamas, the company on restoration shall be liable to a penalty of one hundred dollars (US$100.00) for each year or part thereof that the name of the company remained struck off the Register. In view of these changes, as from January 2011 the invoices of the companies to be restored will reflect such penalty.
The penalty shall be payable by the company which has been struck off the Registry by the time this Act came into effect.
